Andreas Mikkelsen says that the debut of the new Fabia RS Rally2 will be delayed by Skoda due to production issues and does not know when he will drive this car in 2022.
The Czech brand unveiled its new Rally2 car in Mlada Modeslav last month and this Fabia has been added to the RS family.
However, it was supposed that the drivers of Toksport WRT would drive this new car at Rally Finland in WRC2 category, but unfortunately they will compete with the current Fabia which is one of the most successful cars in rallying.
"It was supposed to come to Finland but this didn’t happen", Mikkelsen said.
"I think there are some supply issues; I think it’s like that for most manufacturers at the moment.
"When the first rally will be, exactly, I don’t know".
