Rally Japan - 3rd Day - 2nd Loop: Ogier responds to Evans's attack, power steering issue hits Katsuta

At the end of Saturday, Sebastien Ogier remains at the top of the overall classification in Japan with Elfyn Evans and Adrien Foumaux completing the top three.

Sebastien Ogier is still out in front and managed to increase his lead from Elfyn Evans by setting the fastest time in SS12, SS13 and SS14.

Elfyn Evans keeps his second position overall and was for 1,4 seconds behind Ogier at the end of Stage 11 as he was the fastest driver there.

Adrien Fourmaux gained one place after Takamoto Katsuta's retirement and completes the top three being the top driver of Hyundai Motorsport.

Sami Pajari could not chase Fourmaux for the third place and is still fourth overall.

Ott Tanak sits in fifth position overall and still does not feel happy with the behavior of his i20N.

Gregoire Munster is over a minute behind Tanak and his sixth place is not under threat.

Kalle Rovanpera moved from tenth to seventh overall at the end of Satuday afternoon.

Takamoto Katsuta dropped from third to seventh position at the end of SS11 as he hit a water barrier with the front right of his Yaris and had to complete the stages without power steering after this impact. In Stage 14, he lost his seventh position from Rovanpera, so he is now eighth overall.
