Munster makes a surprising Dakar switch for 2026

Gregoire Munster announced today that he will navigate Jourdan Serderidis at Dakar Rally in 2026.

Grégoire Munster, the Luxembourgish rally talent, made his debut in the top tier of the WRC in 2023 behind the wheel of the Ford Puma Rally1. In 2024, he earned his first full-season program, joining M-Sport Ford as Adrien Fourmaux’s teammate. By 2025, Munster had stepped up as M-Sport Ford’s #1 driver, but despite the promotion, podium finishes eluded him, and he was outpaced by teammate Martins Sesks.

In a surprising twist today, Munster announced that he will take part in the 2026 Dakar Rally—not as a driver, but as co-driver to Jourdan Serderidis, marking a new chapter in his rallying career.
