The organizers of Safari Rally Kenya announced the route of their event which will be held on March 12-15.
The recce will last two days starting on Tuesday 10 March and ending on Wednesday 11 March. The Shakedown session will move to Nawisa where the drivers will make their final adjustments to their cars. The rally starts with two stages on Thursday as the crews have to pass from "Camp Moran" and "Mzabibu".
Friday includes eight stages and 136,55 competitive kilometers. The morning loop starts with the second pass from "Camp Moran" which is the second-longest stage of the day. It will be followed by "Loldia" which is the longest stage of the rally with 25,70Km. The morning loop ends with "Kengen Geothermal" and "Kedong". The afternoon loop of Friday starts with the second pass from "Kedong" which is a 12-kilometer stage. Afterwards, the crews will have to pass from "Kengen Geothermal" and "Kedong" before their finishing their day with the second pass from "Mzabibu".
The third day includes two loops of three stages and 122,98 kilometers. Both loops start with "Soysambu" which is the longest stage of Saturday with 25,20 kilometers. After this stage, the crews will head to "Elmenteita" which will be followed by "Sleeping Warrior" which is the concluding stage of both loops.
Sunday contains four stages and 57,72 kilometers. The day starts with "Oserengoni" which will be the opening and the third stage of the day. The first pass from "Hell's Gate" is very crucial for the crews as it will host the Powerstage.
In total, Safari Rally Kenya 2026 includes twenty stages and 350,02 competitive kilometers in distance.
