At the end of Saturday afternoon, Oliver Solberg has a clear advantage at Rally Sardinia with Sebastien Ogier and Sami Pajari following him.
Oliver Solberg remains the rally leader in Sardinia with four stages remaining until the end. As things standing, he is just six points behind the championship leader Elfyn Evans after the mistakes the Hyundai duo made this afternoon.
Sebastien Ogier moved up to second position overall at the end of Stage 11 after Thierry Neuville's retirement and was the fastest driver in Stages 11 and 12.
Sami Pajari is now third overall and gained two places since Saturday morning taking advantage over Neuville's DNF and Fourmaux's puncture in Stage 12.
Adrien Fourmaux dropped from third to fifth overall at the end of Stage 12 as he stopped to change a wheel 8.4Km into SS12. His puncture led him to slip behind Pajari and Evans on the classification. However, he set the fastest time in Stage 13 and stole the fourth place from Evans for 6,4 seconds as their gap was at 4,7 seconds in favor of Evans at the end of SS12.
Elfyn Evans completes the third day of Rally Sardinia at fifth place as he lost his position over Fourmaux on the final stage of Saturday.
Takamoto Katsuta is in sixth position overall and was not happy as he was opening the road this afternoon.
Jon Armstrong reported understeer and clipped a wall on the inside of a corner in Stage 12, but is now the highest-placed driver for M-Sport Ford as he is seventh.
Josh McErlean dropped from sixth to eighth as he went off in Stage 12 resulting in having a water pressure alarm and carrying a front right damage. He delayed to start in Stage 13 and the strange thing is that he completed SS13 with a front left damage as well.
Thierry Neuville was second overall and just 2,7 seconds adrift from the first Solberg at the end of Saturday morning, but was forced to retire in Stage 11 as he went off just 1.1Km into SS11.
Martins Sesks retired at the midday service due to a steering system failure.
