Sebastien Ogier confirmed today that he will participate in Rally Finland which will be held this month.
The Frenchman is currently on the fight for this year's championship as he is second overall with 131 points, just nine points behind Elfyn Evans. However, he will skip Rally Estonia which will be held in two weeks, but he will return back to the wheel of the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 in Finland. Last year, he won Rally Finland after Kalle Rovanpera's crash there securing his second victory of that event.
"My summer will actually not be as free as initially planned", Ogier said.
"Since a little while, I was thinking that doing again Rally Finland would be something nice, as obviously last year was a great rally for me with my second win up there.
"So I mentioned since a while to the team that, yeah, why not maybe adding Rally Finland to the list and try to have fun on these beautiful roads.
"So yeah, I will be at the start in a bit more than four weeks now, so I'm looking forward to see you there".
