Rally Finland - 2nd Day - 2nd Loop: Rovanpera out in front of Hyundai duo, Tanak hits trouble

At the end of Friday, Kalle Rovanpera remains at the top of the classification with Thierry Neuville and Adrien Fourmaux following him.

Kalle Rovanpera is still leading his home event at the end of Friday while he set the fastest time in SS7 and SS8.

Thierry Neuville gained three positions on the afternoon and is now second overall while he set the fastest time in Stage 9. However, it must be mentioned that he had an engine stall in Stage 6 resulting in dropping some seconds.

Adrien Fourmaux does the 2-3 for Hyundai Motorsport, but the Frenchman lost two places and dropped to fourth at the end of Stage 6. However, he set an identical time with Rovanpera in Stage 8 while he topped the stage times in SS10.

Takamoto Katsuta comes right behind Fourmaux for four tenths of a second.

Sami Pajari completes the top five as he lost two positions in Stage 6 resulting in being at fifth place.

Sebastien Ogier overtook Elfyn Evans at the end of Stage 7 despite the fact that the first one missed a junction at 1.5Km into SS7.

Martins Sesks, Josh McErlean, Ott Tanak and Gregoire Munster complete the top 11.

Tanak hit a tree in Stage 7 resulting in damaging the front of his car while the engine of his i20N did not sound perfectly at the end of SS8.
