Elfyn Evans was the fastest driver of the Shakedown session of Rally Japan as he stopped the clock at 2:13.8.
Takamoto Katsuta follows the championship leader for 0,6 seconds while he left Kalle Rovanpera behind for one second.
Adrien Fourmaux slits the 1-2-3-4 of Toyota Gazoo Racing as he was faster than Sebastien Ogier for 0,1 seconds.
Sami Pajari comes right behind his teammate Ogier for 0,1 seconds.
Ott Tanak sits in seventh position overall and left Thierry Neuville behind for seven tenths of a second.
Josh McErlean completes the top nine as he is the top M-Sport driver.
Gregoire Munster is 12th overall behind Nikolay Gryazin and Alejandro Cachon.
