Munster to drive the third Ford Puma Rally1 of M-Sport in Monte Carlo

Μ-Sport Ford confirmed today that Gregoire Munster will take part with the third car of the team on the season opener which will be held in Monte Carlo on January 2025.

The British squad announced Josh McErlean and Jon Armstrong as its drivers for the 2026 WRC season while Gregoire Munster will navigate Jourdan Serderidis at Dakar Rally which will start next month. However, the driver from Luxembοurg will make his first appearance as a M-Sport Ford's part-time at Rallye Monte Carlo with the third Puma Rally1. It must be mentioned that Munster secured his first ever WRC stage win at Rallye Monte Carlo eleven months ago. So far, we do not know if he will compete with the third Puma in another WRC round, but it very likely to see him again in 2026.

"I’m really happy and looking forward to starting the season in Monte Carlo", Munster said.

"It’s where I took my first WRC stage win, and it’s always an event with tricky conditions, sometimes even full winter conditions with snow and ice.

"The stages are quite different from previous years, with a mix of new roads and some returning favourites, so that’s an exciting new challenge.

"We’ve seen throughout 2025 that the Puma Rally1 has performed well there on the Hankook soft tires, and I know we have all the ingredients to do well.

"It will be a challenge, especially with going straight from Dakar directly into Monte Carlo recce the following day, so January will be very busy – but I’ll have time to sleep in February!".
