New mindset for Suninen after the disappointing Rally Estonia

Teemu Suninen will start the upcoming WRC events with a new mind after Rally Estonia blaming his disappointing performance there on the lack of seat time.

The Finn driver shares the second car of M-Sport Ford with Adrien Fourmaux this season and he has competed in four races so far.

At Rally Estonia, he finished sixth overall, but he was not so sompetitive in the stages in comparison with the other drivers.

Moreover, Suninen has competed in WRC2 category so far with the Ford Fiesta MKII R5 when he did not take part in the main category of WRC.

"I have to recharge the batteries and start with a new mind for the rally", Suninen said.

"I was quite disappointed with Rally Estonia.

"I think I had maybe two good stages – the first city stage and the last forest stage where we felt the car is working OK and I had good confidence.

"I tried to get some good time, and managed to do it.

"But generally the rally was quite difficult and challenging.

"Right now, I feel a little bit the lack of seat time and general lack of driving".
