Greensmith/Fourmaux have equal chances to be in M-Sport Ford for 2022

The team principal of M-Sport Ford, Richard Millener, says that Gus Greensmith and Adrien Fourmaux have the same oppurtunities to continue as M-Sport drivers next year as both of them have similar performances this season.

Greensmith and Fourmaux are very close to each other in every event and set almost the same stage times despite the fact that the first one have got much more kilometers in Fiesta in comparison with the last one.

So far, the best finish for Greensmith's WRC career was the fourth position in Kenya, but he have not won a stage yet.

On the other hand, Fourmaux who started as a part-time driver this season is a stage winner and he won his first ever stage on Kenya, but his best result is a fifth place so far.

"I’ve said to a few people, I still read a lot of social media, I still follow all the social media because I’m a fan as well as doing this as a job and I think sometimes it can be unfair to have people taking priority, one driver over another but both our drivers are fighting at a similar time", Millener said.

"So I think it’s really important to make it clear that we’ve got two drivers on the same level and that’s why we’re giving them both the same opportunities to see what we can do best for ’22.

"They’ve been trading times which is always good and it gives us more to think about next year that both drivers seem to be on a fairly level par.

"And I think it’s important that we don’t make one car biased to another so that’s really good for us".
