Eric Camilli announced today that he will take part in WRC2 category next season and will drive the Citroen C3 Rally2 car of Sainteloc Racing.
The French driver competed in three events (Rallye Monte Carlo, Rally Portugal, Rally Spain) in WRC2 category in 2021 and was behind the wheel of a Citroen C3 Rally2 car of Sport&You team.
Moreover, he took part in all rounds of France Tarmac Championship in 2021 with Ph Sport team and its car, Citroen C3 Rally2 car.
Finally, it must be mentioned that he has participated in WRC2 many times in the past, but next year he will have a full program with the intention of fighting for the WRC2 title.
"After a busy 2021 season in competition with the French Rally Championship and appearances in WRC2, it is still with Citroen Racing and aboard the victorious C3 Rally2 in Catalonia that I will take part in the 2022 season in WRC2", Camilli wrote in his social media.
"The car will be prepared by the Saintéloc Racing team.
"The season will start at the next Monte-Carlo and we will also be at the start of the races in Croatia, Portugal, Italy, Estonia, Catalonia as well as the additional event which is not yet official".
