M-Sport Ford eager to offer more outings to Loeb in 2022

Malcolm Wilson says that there is a possibility for Sebastien Loeb to do more rallies this season after his win at Rallye Monte Carlo.

Sebastien Loeb was the leader of Rallye Monte Carlo at the end of Friday, but he lost the first position from Sebastien Ogier on Saturday.

Due to the fact that the last one had a puncture in SS16 and received a 10-second time penalty in Powerstage, the M-Sport driver reclaimed the lead of the event and he won the 90th version of Rallye Monte Carlo.

In addition, Loeb became the first WRC driver who wins a WRC event in hybrid era and scored his eighth Monte win equalizing Ogier's wins there.

Finally, it must be mentioned that Loeb competed in Rallye Monte Carlo directly after his participation in Dakar Rally that was held on January 1-14.

"I would really like him to do more rounds," Wilson told Motorsport.com.

"I think he must go down in history in the highest level of sportsman, he has been absolutely incredible to do it at the age that he is, to win at the highest level against the guy who was won it eight times before.

"It is just remarkable.

"There is a possibility, there is a lot of things to sort out but we would like to see him back in the car, especially after here, but we have to see what happens in the next few weeks."
