Sebastien Ogier admits that Kalle Rovanpera has done two perfect rallies and is doing exactly what he has to do on the championship while the first one is referring to the last one's appearance at Rally Croatia.
Kalle Rovanpera has secured two wins so far this season and he extended his lead on driver's championship at the end of Rally Croatia as he has 76 points while the second Thierry Neuville has 47 points.
Finally, it must be mentioned that Rovanpera had no experience from Rally Croatia as he had a huge crash in Stage 1 last year and was unable to continue due to the fact that his Yaris was heavily damaged and Toyota mechanics could not repair it.
'To be honest he has just done two perfect rallies", Ogier said.
"It’s really a good start for him".
"After three races he has a very big lead.
"But a big lead after three races doesn’t mean you’re going to be champion after 13.
"There are 10 rallies to go.
"But for sure at the moment, he’s doing exactly what he has to do".
Finally, Ogier is talking about Rovanpera's performance in Croatia: "Honestly, I didn’t follow exactly stage by stage what happened, but I could see from afar that in Croatia, for example, he had good management, of course helped by the road position in the beginning.
"But then he was cool when it was tricky.
"And there was the last push at the end to get the win.
"So, he seems pretty strong in every aspect at the moment.
"If it continues like this, it will be hard for the others to catch him".
