Acropolis Rally - 3rd Day - 2nd Loop: Drama continues as Neuville leads his teammates

At the end of the third day of Acropolis Rally, Thierry Neuville remains on top with Ott Tanak and Dani Sordo following him.

Thierry Neuville is still leading in Greece and set the fastest time in Stage 11.

Ott Tanak follows his Belgian teammate for 27,9 seconds and set the fastest time on the final stage of the day.

Dani Sordo completes the 1-2-3 for Hyundai Motorsport and was the fastest driver in Stage 12.

All Hyundai drivers faced problems in all stages as the batteries may be overheating and all of them were looking down to their dashboards.

Elfyn Evans is now fourth overall and his gap from the third Sordo is at 7,1 seconds. However, he had a small problem at the start of Stage 13 as his car was late to move on.

Pierre-Louis Loubet completes the top five, but he lost some time in Stage 11 as he had an overshoot in a left-hander and went off the road.

Craig Breen is in sixth place overall and was the only M-Sport driver who did not face any problem in this loop.

Takamoto Katsuta is seventh and said at the end of Stage 12 that he had no hybrid power. Moreover, he clipped something inside a bank of Stage 13 resulting in doing a 360, but the hybrid power was back for this stage.

Esapekka Lappi was second overall until the start of Stage 12 where he stopped, but he continued driving slowly thoughtout that stage. He dropped more than 13 minutes on the penultimate stage of Saturday and may carry a fuel-related issue. Also, he reported at the end of SS11 that he had some sensor problems. Finally, he was forced to retire before the start of SS13.

Kalle Rovanpera remains outside the top ten and his mechanics managed to repair his damaged Yaris for the afternoon stages.

Gus Greensmith was forced to stop 1.7 Km into Stage 11 as he faced a technical issue with his Puma. He was in eighth place overall before the start of the afternoon Saturday loop.

M-Sport Ford confimed that Sebastien Loeb and Jourdan Serderidis will not restart on the final day of Acropolis Rally Greece under the regulations of Rally2.
