Millener: M-Sport's hard work for Tanak has paid off in Croatia

The team principal of M-Sport Ford, Richard Millener, says that his team's hard work for Ott Tanak has paid off at Croatia Rally saying that his driver's second place is a great result.

The 2019 WRC Champion finished on the second place of the podium in Croatia last weekend setting the fastest time in two from twenty stages. He did not start his rally in a positive way as from the first stage he faced a steering issue with his Puma which made him to stall in a hairpin. His mechanics changed all the steering system for Friday afternoon and he did not face any problem with his car until Stage 15 where he suffered from a handbrake issue. Luckily for him, that stage was the penultimate one for Saturday, but still he lost more ground to fight against Elfyn Evans for the victory.

"For us, second place is a really good result", Millener said.

"Ott showed some great speed and times in the car, but we still have some work to do to make him more comfortable in certain conditions.

"I know the team will work as hard as they can on that, but their hard work since the season began has paid off here, so thank you to each and every one of them".
