How Tanak could stay up at WRC title fight with Rovanpera after Greece?

As this year’s championship comes to an end with four events remaining until the season finale, Ott Tanak has a big disadvantage on the drivers’ championship heading to Acropolis Rally which will host the tenth WRC round.

More specifically, Ott Tanak has 104 points on the championship at the end of Rally Finland and is behind the leader Kalle Rovanpera for 66 points as the last one has 170 points. It is crucial for the Estonian to recover 24 points compared to Rovanpera in Greece next weekend if he wants to remain at the fight for this year’s driver title, but how can this happen? Below we examine what Tanak must do at Acropolis Rally in combination with Rovanpera’s results next week.
