Ogier fails to arrive at the service park on time and retires

According to DirtFish sources, Sebastien Ogier was not able to arrive at the service park area in Lamia after the damage he faced with his Yaris in Stage 12 which means that he retires for the day.

The Frenchman was leading Acropolis Rally for two stages (SS10-SS11) after Thierry Neuville's retirement on the opening stage of Saturday afternoon and headed to Stage 12 with an almost ten-second advantage over his teammate Kalle Rovanpera. However, Ogier had to drive slowly throughout the final stage of Saturday as he broke the rear-left suspension, but we do not know yet how this happened. After this impact, Ogier and Vincent Landais had to drive from Eleftherohori to Lamia to return back to the service park as the itinerary orders. Unfortunately, they did not able to arrive at the service park in time due to the suspension damage which means that they have to retire. The crew dropped from first to fourth overall after the end of SS12 while in case of their restarting tomorrow they will receive time penalties and will begin the final day of Acropolis Rally from ninth place.
