Rallye Monte Carlo - 2nd Day - 2nd Loop: Neuville and Ogier chips away Evans's lead



At the end of Friday afternoon, Elfyn Evans holds the first place in Monte Carlo with Sebastien Ogier and Thierry Neuville following him.

Elfyn Evans keeps the lead of Rallye Monte Carlo after the end of Friday afternoon stages, but he was not able to match the pace of Ogier and Neuville despite his road position.

Sebastien Ogier is now 4,5 seconds far from the first Evans as the nine-time Rallye Monte Carlo winner was the fastest driver in Stage 8.

Thierry Neuville completes the top three and claimed many seconds back after setting the fastest time on the first two afternoon stages of Friday.

Ott Tanak is still fourth overall, but he managed to increase his gap from the fifth Adrien Fourmaux from 3,3 to 24,4 seconds.

Andreas Mikkelsen is over one minute behind the M-Sport Ford driver, but the first one is feeling more confident with his new car.

Gregoire Munster remains in seventh place overall, but his target was to improve his pace for Saturday.

Nikolay Gryazin, Pepe Lopez and Yohan Rossel complete the top ten.

Takamoto Katsuta is still fighting to enter to the top ten while he said that he wants to improve his pacenotes and his rthyth for the future.
