Rally Portugal - 4th Day: Ogier wins as Tanak splits the Toyota's 1-2

At the end of Sunday, Sebastien Ogier takes his second victory of the season with Ott Tanak and Kalle Rovanpera following him.

Sebastien Ogier wins Rally de Portugal for a seventh time in his WRC career and was managing his gap compared to his rivals today.

Ott Tanak managed to steal the second place from Kalle Rovanpera at the end of Stage 23 as their gap was at 3,7 seconds after SS22. The Estonian was the fastest driver in SS20, SS21, SS22, SS23 and SS24 which means that he topped the SuperSunday standings and took the five extra points from Powerstage.

Kalle Rovanpera eventually finished at the lowest place of the podium as he was struggling to find grip with his Yaris today while Tanak passed him for 1,5 seconds at the end of Stage 23. However, he was the fastest driver in Stage 19.

Thierry Neuville holds the fourth place who still was struggling with the rear of his i20N.

Takamoto Katsuta completes the top five and hit a bedrock on a mid corner of Stage 23 resulting in spinning. Previously, the Japanese driver hit a bank with the rear right at 9Km into SS21.

Elfyn Evans grabbed the sixth position from Sami Pajari at the end of Stage 22 with the last one dropping to seventh.

Josh McErlean, Gregoire Munster and Oliver Solberg complete the top 10.

Martins Sesks finished outside the top ten and suffered from a puncture in Stage 19.

Adrien Fourmaux was forced to retire after SS23 due to cooling system issues with his i20N.
