Rally Estonia - 4th Day: Solberg scores his first ever WRC win, penalty for Neuville



At the end of Sunday, Oliver Solberg takes a dominant win at Rally Estonia with Ott Tanak and Thierry Neuville following him.

Oliver Solberg wins a WRC event for the first time in his career and scored a dominant victory as he was the fastest driver in two stages today which means he topped the SuperSunday standings.

Ott Tanak remains second overall, but the most important is that he is the championship leading heading to Rally Finland.

Thierry Neuville does the 2-3 for Hyundai Motorsport and his goal to fight with Tanak finished at the end of Stage 18 when he received a 10-second time penalty for jump start.

Kalle Rovanpera finished fourth overall and was the best driver for Toyota that scored points for the manufacturer championship.

Adrien Fourmaux completes the top five and had a front aero damage at the end of Stage 18.

Elfyn Evans finished in sixth position overall and had a rear right aero damage in Stage 19 as he ran wide and touched a bank.

Sami Pajari, Martins Sesks, Josh McErlean and Gregoire Munster complete the top 10.

Sesks had a big hit into a bank with the rear left at 23Km into Stage 19.

Takamoto Katsuta retired from the sixth place at the end of SS19 due to mechanical issues.
