Renault Group is thinking of joining World Rallly Championship with Dacia from 2027.
World Rally Championship will enter to a new era from 2027 as FIA decided to change the current WRC regulations. Prodrive is considering of joining WRC with Dacia Sandero from 2027 as this car is currently used at Rally Raid and is being driven by Sebastien Loeb and Nasser Al Attiyah. Furthermore, it must be mentioned that Prodrive had been an historic WRC team as it clinched two drivers' titles with Petter Solberg and Richard Burns who drove a Subaru Impreza two decades ago. Renault Group had expressed its interest to join World Rally Championship in the past if the series evolved electric cars in the future.
