Ogier focuses on 2025 WRC title push

Sebastien Ogier sets sights on the 025 WRC title bid saying that he did not hide his intention to do Rally Paraguay before the start of Rally Finland.

The eight-time WRC Champion signed a part-season contract with Toyota for this year, but he is among the WRC contenders for this year's title since the end of Acropolis Rally. Ogier has won three rallies so far this season and has finished six times on the podium positions, but Rally Finland's result was one of his worst compared to the other rallies he had competed in. At the end of Rally Finland, Ogier shares the third place with Ott Tanak on the standings and is 13 points behind the championship leader Elfyn Evans.

"The points gap is definitely not much regarding the fact we have missed three rallies", Ogier said.

"Six podiums out of six rallies.

"This is our worst result but we can’t complain about it, and we must be very happy with the outcome.

"This fight was worth it, collecting 22 points.

"People asked me already this week and I was not hiding anything on the fact I will be starting the next rally in Paraguay, it was planned already before this week.

"Now it is exciting to be part of this four-way fight for the title".
