Rally Finland - 3rd Day - 2nd Loop: Rovanpera pulls clear at the Toyota's 1-2-3-4-5, disaster for Hyundai



At the end of Saturday, Kalle Rovanpera extended further his lead with Takamoto Katsuta following him.

Kalle Rovanpera remains the rally leader on his home event and set the fastest time in SS17 and SS18.

Takamoto Katsuta climbed to second position overall at the end of SS16 and will give a fight to keep his place.

Sebastien Ogier is third overall and left Elfyn Evans behind for 1,5 seconds. The Frenchman set the fastest time in SS15.

Sami Pajari completes the top five, but he slipped behind his teammates at the end of SS15. However, he was the fastest driver in Stage 16 claiming another stage win.

Thierry Neuville dropped from second to sixth position as he suffered from a front right puncture in SS16.

Adrien Fourmaux lost four places in Stage 16 as he got a front right puncture at the same place as Neuville.

Josh McErlean, Gregoire Munster and Martins Sesks complete the top ten.

Sesks stopped in Stage 15 as his windscreen was full of mist and his co-driver Francs Renars cleaned the windscreen with his foot. However, the Latvian completed SS15 and continued his Rally Finland.

Ott Tanak is outside the top ten and suffered from a front left puncture in Stage 17.
