At the end of Thursday morning, Martins Sesks is the new rally leader in Saudi Arabia with Adrien Fourmaux and Sami Pajari following him.
Martins Sesks stormed into lead of Rally Saudi Arabia at the end of Stage 2 as he was the fastest driver on the first two morning stages. However, he lost some seconds in Stage 4 as he made a mistake and followed a wrong way in a crossroad.
Adrien Fourmaux comes right behind the Latvian driver for 1,3 seconds and took advantage over Sesks's mistake in Stage 4 as their gap was at 7,3 seconds in favor of the last one at the end of SS3.
Four tenths of a second separate Sami Pajari from the second Fourmaux as the first one set the fastest time in SS4.
Ott Tanak dropped from first to sixth at the end of Stage 2, but he managed to get two positions back and is now fourth overall.
Thierry Neuville completes the top five and was very lucky in Stage 3 as he suffered from a slow rear right puncture. Moreover, the windscreen of his i20N was broken after a landing in SS2.
Takamoto Katsuta comes right behind Neuville for 1,7 seconds and stayed out of trouble on Thursday morning.
Sebastien Ogier holds the seventh position since the end of Stage 3 and lost four places on Thursday morning as he was third overall at the end of Stage 2.
Elfyn Evans is in eighth position overall and dropped from fifth to ninth at the end of Stage 2 due to the road cleaning. However, he made a mistake on a junction and had to reverse in Stage 4.
Nasser Al-Attiyah and Kalle Rovanpera complete the top ten.
Rovanpera got a rear left puncture in Stage 4 which made him to lose two places.
Gregoire Munster and Josh McErlean are outside the top ten.
McErlean suffered from a front right puncture and had to stop to change a wheel on the opening stage of Thursday.
