Lancia Corse HF returns to WRC2 in 2026 with Rossel and Gryazin

Team Lancia Corse HF will officially compete in the 2026 WRC2 season with two Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale cars, starting at the Rallye Monte Carlo from January 22 to 25, 2026. Operations will be managed by PH Sport, supported by Yacco and Sparco, while the highly experienced Didier Clément will take on the role of Team Principal.

French driver Yohan Rossel (30) has progressed through every stage of his career behind the wheel of Stellantis Group machinery. His achievements include becoming French Junior Champion, winning the Promotion Cup, claiming the WRC3 World Title in 2021, and finishing as the 2025 WRC2 Vice-World Champion — highlights in an already impressive career.

Bulgarian driver Nikolay Gryazin (28) brings extensive international experience and proven versatility across all surfaces. He has secured major titles such as the ERC U28 Championship and the WRC2 Challenger World Championship.

The two drivers will reunite at Monte Carlo, this time under the official banner of Team Lancia Corse HF. It will mark a historic moment: after eleven Manufacturers’ World Championships and numerous stage victories at Rallye Monte Carlo, Lancia withdrew from the FIA World Rally Championship in the early 1990s.

Since the very first images of the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF were released—followed by the official unveiling and commercial launch—enthusiasm surrounding the brand’s return has surged. More than 40 cars have already been ordered for competition in both international and national championships. The new Rally2 car also represents the final step in Lancia’s rally ladder, offering young drivers a clear pathway to progress through the ranks and reach the top levels of the sport.
