Rally Japan - 3rd Day: Evans claims a dominant win as Solberg tops the SuperSunday standings

At the end of Sunday, Elfyn Evans is the winner of this year's Rally Japan with Sebastien Ogier and Sami Pajari following him.

Elfyn Evans takes his second win of the season and showed a dominant performance in Japan as he was leading the rally since the beginning.

Sebastien Ogier finished second overall and was the fastest driver in Stages 17 and 18. As he predicted yesterday, he was not able to catch Evans on the classification, thus he keeps his position.

Sami Pajari takes another podium, which is his fifth in a row, and managed to keep Takamoto Katsuta behind for 12,1 seconds.

Takamoto Katsuta does the 1-2-3-4 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT and was the fastest driver in Stage 16. In fact, the Japanese star claimed eight extra points as he was the second-fastest driver in Powerstage and SuperSunday standings.

Adrien Fourmaux sits in fifth place overall and is the best driver for Hyundai Motorsport as Thierry Neuville follows the Frenchman for 38,8 seconds.

Hayden Paddon, Jon Armstrong, Nikolay Gryazin and Josh McErlean complete the top 10.

Oliver Solberg restarted today under the SuperRally regulations and was the fastest driver in Stages 15, 19 and 20 which means that he topped the SuperSunday standings and set the fastest time in Powerstage.
