The Route of Rally Sardinia 2026



The organizers of Rally Italia Sardegna announced the route of their event which will be held on October 1-4.

The recce will last two days starting on Tuesday 29 September and ending on Wednesday 30 September. The event will get underway on Thursday, 1 October, with the shakedown starting at 09:01. The location of the test stage will be announced at a later date. The rally will officially begin later in the afternoon with the Ittiri Arena Show stage (2.08 km), scheduled to start at 16:05.

Friday, 2 October, will feature the opening leg through the Gallura and Monte Acuto regions. Crews will contest 120.90 competitive kilometres across six special stages, comprising two runs each over Tula–Erula (18.14 km), Su Filigosu–Lerno (19.56 km), and Monti di Alà–Lerno (22.75 km). A midday service break will be held in Alghero.

The second leg, on Saturday, 3 October, will be based entirely in the Monte Acuto area and will cover 124.76 competitive kilometres. Competitors will tackle six stages, with two passes each through Lerno–Monti di Alà (24.42 km), Coiluna–Loelle (24.83 km), and the new Solorché stage (13.13 km) near Pattada. While the first two stages are well-established Rally Italia Sardegna classics, both will feature modifications compared to previous editions. As on Friday, crews will return to Alghero for a midday service.

The rally will conclude on Sunday, 4 October, with a final leg of 61.62 competitive kilometres spread across four special stages. Crews will complete two runs each over the classic Osilo–Tergu stage (23.71 km), renowned for its highly abrasive surface, and Sassari–Argentiera (7.10 km), which will serve as the Power Stage. Over the years, this stage has frequently played a decisive role in determining the final outcome of the rally, thanks to its demanding nature and spectacular setting overlooking the Sardinian coastline. The podium ceremony is scheduled to take place in Alghero at 17:00.

In total, the Rally Italia Sardegna 2026 will feature 17 stages and 306,92 competitive kilometers.
