Rally Estonia - 2nd Day - 2nd Loop: Untouchable Pajari gets closer into his maiden WRC win, tough battle between the two Hyundai drivers

At the end of Saturday afternoon, only one day separates Sami Pajari from his first win in World Rally Championship with Oliver Solberg and Adrien Fourmaux following him.

Sami Pajari still leads the 1-2 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT and set the fastest time in the first three afternoon stages increasing his lead over the second Oliver Solberg to 25,8 seconds.

Solberg followed a safer approach for the second passes of the afternoon stages as he wanted to avoid a potential puncture.

Adrien Fourmaux remains third overall and managed to keep his teammate Thierry Neuville behind at fourth position with their smallest gap having been at 1,9 seconds after the end of Stage 15. In fact, their margin was at 6,1 seconds after SS14, but the Belgian set the fastest time in Stage 15.

Sebastien Ogier was not able to match the pace of the two Hyundai drivers, so he holds the fifth position overall.

Elfyn Evans had a clean drive on Saturday afternoon and consolidates his sixth position despite the fact that he overshot a junction in Stage 13.

Martins Sesks completes Saturday as the highest-placed M-Sport Ford driver and remains seventh, but he can still fight for the sixth position with Evans on Sunday as their gap is at 14,2 seconds.

Esapekka Lappi did not manage to take some positions back and is still eighth while he had a moment in Stage 12 as he oversteered on a high-speed corner.

Jon Armstrong completes the top nine and was struggling with the rear of his Ford Puma Rally1.

Takamoto Katsuta is outside the top ten and was not happy with his road position today.
