Rally Finland - 4th Day: Back-to-back victories for Pajari as Katsuta's late mistake drops him to 6th overall

At the end of Sunday, Sami Pajari becomes the latest driver from Finland who wins his home event with Oliver Solberg and Elfyn Evans following him on the classification.

Sami Pajari claims his second consecutive win in World Rally Championship and is the latest Finn who wins Rally Finland as Kalle Rovanpera was the winner of the 2025 edition. Pajari lost 19,6 seconds compared to the second Oliver Solberg today as the first one was managing his lead and his target was to secure his second win at the top level.

Oliver Solberg keeps the second position overall on the classification and was the fastest driver in Stage 19 while he was beaten by Evans for some thousanths of a second in Powerstage which means that he scored nine points today as he topped the SuperSunday standings for 2,9 seconds.

Elfyn Evans completes the podium for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT and scored the five bonus points in Powerstage despite the fact that he and Oliver Solberg set an identical time in PS, but the Welshman was faster than Solberg for some thousandths of a second.

Adrien Fourmaux was unable to chase Evans down for the lowest place of the podium, so the Frenchman finished fourth overall and was the best driver for Hyundai Motorsport.

Thierry Neuville does the 4-5 for Hyundai Motorsport as he passed Takamoto Katsuta for the top five finish at the end of Powerstage.

Takamoto Katsuta slipped behind the fifth Neuville after Powerstage as the Japanese star lost the rear and went straight into the trees resulting in damaging the radiator. Katsuta was driving at the safe mode after this incident and lost more than one minute in PS, but he managed to finish ahead of Josh McErlean for 14,5 seconds.

Josh McErlean was the highest-placed driver for M-Sport Ford as he finished seventh overall after his having lost the sixth place from Neuville on the final stage of Saturday. 

Jon Armstrong finished outside the top ten and the windscreen of his Ford Puma Rally1 was cracked after a massive jump in Stage 19.

Martins Sesks restarted under the SuperRally regulations today as his mechanics fixed his Puma for the final day of the rally after his roll in Stage 14.
