At the end of Friday afternoon, Oliver Solberg extends further his lead over Elfyn Evans with Adrien Fourmaux following them.
Oliver Solberg completed the first day of Rally Chile out in front as increased his lead over the second Elfyn Evans to 10,1 seconds by setting the fastest time in Stage 6.
Elfyn Evans remains second overall and is being happy with the pace he showed considering the fact that he was opening the road today.
Adrien Fourmaux spoils the party for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT as he is the highest-placed driver for Hyundai Motorsport at third position. Moreover, the Frenchman confirmed that he had a throttle issue this morning.
Sebastien Ogier moved up to fourth place overall after the end of Stage 4 and was the fastest driver in Stage 5 for 0,1 seconds resulting in being just four tenths of a second behind the third Fourmaux.
Sami Pajari follows his teammate for two seconds and is fifth overall since the end of Stage 4 where he was the quickest driver.
Thierry Neuville dropped from fourth to sixth overall after Stage 4 and is 5,7 seconds behind the fifth Pajari after the end of Friday.
Josh McErlean and Jon Armstrong share the seventh place at the end of Stage 4 as they were identical due to the fact that the last one was faster than McErlean in SS4. However, Armstrong was up to the splits in Stage 5 and was ahead of his teammate for 0,6 seconds, but McErlean responded back in Stage 6 and overtook Armstrong on the classification for the seventh place.
Jon Armstrong is just 2,4 seconds behind his teammate McErlean as he was slower than him for three seconds in Stage 6.
Esapekka Lappi remains ninth overall and was not happy with his performance today as he was not able to find the pace to push with his Hyundai i20N Rally1.
Takamoto Katsuta will restart under the SuperRally regulations on Saturday following his crash in Stage 1 of Rally Chile.
