At the end of the Shakedown session, Takamoto Katsuta tops the SD times with Adrien Fourmaux and Sami Pajari following him.
Takamoto Katsuta improved his time on his second run from the Shakedown stage and finished the session ahead of the second Adrien Fourmaux for 1,6 seconds. It must be mentioned that the Japanese star has a new co-driver for Rally Chile as Aaron Johnston is injured following their crash at Rally Paraguay.
Sami Pajari and Esapekka Lappi set an identical pace at the Shakedown session, but the Toyota driver was faster than EP for some thousandths of a second, so he keeps the third place.
Lappi returned back to the wheel of the third Hyundai i20N Rally1 for a fifth time this season and ran four times throuthout the SD stage while he lost time on his first pass.
Only three tenths of a second separated the fifth Thierry Neuville from Pajari and Lappi while he left Sebastien Ogier behind at the sixth position for only 0,1 seconds.
Jon Armstrong completes the Shakedown session at seventh place overall and was ahead of his teammate Josh McErlean for nine tenths of a second.
Oliver Solberg and Elfyn Evans complete the top ten and were the slowest Rally drivers.
