Raikkonen has no plans in returning to rallying and to WRC

Kimi Raikkonen does not plan yet to return in WRC and in rallying after announcing yesterday his retirement from Formula1 at the end of this season.

The Finn driver is currently driving for Alfa Romeo in Formula1, but he will retire at the end of 2021 as he is 42 years old, and for sure the Formula1 world will miss him.

Raikkonen had participated in 21 events of WRC back in 2009-2011 having driven three different cars after having left Ferrari at the end of 2009.

Specifically, he partipated  in 2009 Rally GB in WRC with a Fiat Abarth Grande Punto S2000 and with Tommi Makkinen's private team while he was behind the wheel of a Citroen C4 WRC and a Citroen DS3 WRC in 2010 and in 2011 respectively.

Kaj Lindstrom was in his co-drive seat all these three years who is currently the sporting director of Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT.

“No plans", Raikkonen answered when he was asked about the potential for a return to the stages.

"I don’t want to have a schedule.

"Last time I did rallying and there was always a schedule and I don’t want that.

"I’m not in a rush".
