Loeb tipped to join M-Sport Ford in 2022 after hybrid Puma test

According to marca.com, Sebastien Loeb is likely to join M-Sport Ford next season as he tested the hybrid Puma today in tarmac.

It was rumored since last August that the nine-time World Rally Driver Champion would have a partial programme next year with M-Sport Ford if Malcolm Wilson needed his services.

Since then, there was no further information about his move to the British squad until today when he tested the brand new hybrid Puma.

Loeb had been a Citroen driver from 2002 to 2013 while he returned to WRC as a part-time driver in 2018 with Hyundai Motorsport for tow years.

He participated in Dakar Rally with the team BRX last July while he is currently competing in ExtremeE with the Lewis Hamilton's team, Team X44.

To conclude with, it is rumored that his first appearance in WRC with the Puma will be in January at next year's Rallye Monte Carlo while it is yet to confirm if he actually will a M-Sport driver next year.
