Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT confirms today that Sebastien Ogier will compete in this year's Rally de Portugal with the third Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 car.
The French driver secured his first podium in the hybrid era of World Rally Championship in Monte Carlo last January where he finished in second position overall.
He signed a part-time program with Toyota for WRC this season and the same time he will participate in the second category of WEC with hybrid car of Toyota as well.
Moreover, it is tipped that he will do four rallies this year and his second outing in WRC will be at Rally de Portugal where he will compete against his compatriot, Sebastien Loeb, while it is yet to be confirmed the other two events in which he will take part.
