Official: Rally Mexico returns to 2023 WRC calendar

FIA and WRC Promoter in cooperation with the organizers of Rally Mexico announces today that this event will be back to next year's WRC Calendar.

Rally Mexico was an iconic WRC event and the last time that was held a WRC round was back in 2020 where Sebastien Ogier won that year.

In fact, due to the coronavirus restrictions the last day of Rally Mexico 2020 was cancelled while this country did not host a WRC event in 2021.

Rally Mexico is a gravel event and the rally action usually starts with a super special stage which is held in Guanajuato with thousands of spectators.

However, it is yet to be confirmed if Rally Mexico will remain in WRC calendar for many years.
