Rovanpera: Nothing is over until it is over

Kalle Rovanpera believes that nothing is over yet on drivers' championship considering his crash at Ypres Rally Belgium and says that he will continue scoring good points for the rest of the season.

Kalle Rovanpera headed to Belgium with a 92-point lead over Ott Tanak, but their gap was decreased to 72 points after the last one won in that rally whereas the Toyota driver retired on Friday after his crash.

However, Toyota mechanics managed to fix his car for the rest of Ypres Rally, therefore he scored only five points from this round as he was the fastest driver in Powerstage.

"Nothing is over until it’s over", Rovanpera said.

"I’m not going to think about it.

"I will just continue to try to score good points and take good results from the rallies which are coming.

"Of course, the lead is good and it’s nice – but at the moment it’s still a lead and not a championship title.

"What happened in Belgium can happen.

"You are always trying to be perfect and to make the perfect rally, but the mistakes can happen sometimes.

"We have seen that and we try to avoid that in the future".
