Solberg handed a fine for sporting regulations breach in Belgium

The stewards of Ypres Rally gave to Oliver Solberg a fine for breaking the sporting regulations of FIA in four Saturday stages in Ypres.

More specifically, the stewards received photos evidence of onboard cameras which showed that the Hyundai driver did not wear his balaclava under the racing suit.

This incident happened in Stages 10, 11, 12 and 16 and is against the sporting regulations as all drivers have to wear correctly the safety clothing and equipment, according to FIA suggestions.

Therefore, Solberg has to pay a fine of 1.200€ for this infringement within 48 hours of his notification.
