Loubet takes time penalty for breaking the sporting regulations in Spain

The stewards of Rally Spain gave to Pierre-Louis Loubet a time penalty for breaching the sporting regulations in Stage 3.

More specifically, the Frenchman did not follow the road book instruction and cut a section of the chicane, therefore the stewards gave him a 10-second time penalty which will be applied to to special stage time for SS3.

Loubet said to the stewards that he braked late and the chicane was tighter than he assumed, so this caused him to miss the last haybale of the chicane. As a result, he did not follow the route as drawnin the tulip diagram in box 7, page 64 of Road Book. He remains eleventh overall after this time penalty.
