Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT announced today that the team has secured a sponsorship with Microsoft again.
Microsoft was among the sponsors of Toyota since the Japanese rejoined World Rally Championship back in 2017 and supported them for four years. However, its logo was absent from the Yaris WRC and GR Yaris Rally1 since 2021 as both sides decided to part ways, but Toyota confirmed today via its press release ahead of Rally Croatia that they came to an agreement with Microsoft for 2023 and the Yaris Rally1 will carry the logo of Microsoft for the rest of the season starting from the fourth round of the championship.
"Ahead of the event, TGR-WRT is pleased to welcome back Microsoft as a valued partner", Toyota's press release states.
"The Microsoft logo will once more be visible on the team’s cars from the Croatia Rally onwards".
