Neuville set to remain at WRC until the end of 2026

Thierry Neuville says that his target is to continue competing at the top level of World Rally Championship for three more years.

The Belgian driver renewed his deal with Hyundai Motorsport in 2021 and signed a multi-year contract with them which will be expired at the end of 2024. So far, he is the only WRC driver who is under contract as his team, M-Sport Ford and Toyota are yet to announced their line-up for next year. However, it must be mentioned that it is rumored that Kalle Rovanpera will move from Toyota to Hyundai in 2024 which means that this transfer will shuffle the deck if this rumor gets real.

"My target I have said is that I will do next year obviously and after I would like to maybe re-sign for two more years", Neuville said.

"It would be nice in those three years that the WRC will be back to where it belongs.

"Then after that nobody knows.

"I could be the Fernando Alonso of the WRC".
