Fourmaux "doing everything he can" to come back to Rally1 car

Adrien Fourmaux says that his target is to return back to the main category of World Rally Championship saying that he is doing everything he can to achieve that.
M-Sport Ford preferred Pierre-Louis Loubet to have a full-season programme in 2023 to Fourmaux which means that the last one signed a contract with the British team in WRC2 class. The Frenchman has not won a WRC2 event so far this year while he was very close in on taking the victory at Rally Sardinia, but he lost it as he slid in Powerstage due to the wet conditions at the stage. At Rally Finland, he finished second overall on his class which means that this was his first poidium finish for 2023. In addition to his WRC2 campaign, he is competing at the championship of Great Britain where he has won three events and is the leading driver with 80 points.

"I’m doing everything I can", Fourmaux said.

"Finland was special and I think we could be really happy with our performance – fighting with the Finnish drivers and the Scandinavians was good.

"We know that’s an event for the specialists and second place was a nice result.

"The car is feeling really good, we know we have more coming, but it’s working really well.

"For me, the main focus is always to come back to Rally1.

"It’s not easy, but I’m doing everything I can.

"I’m really enjoying the season, the team is working really well and we’re doing a lot of events – competing in Finland was a bonus for me and I’m really grateful for that".
