Silly Season: Hyundai is looking to sign Ogier for 2024



Hyundai Motorsport have sights on signing Sebastien Ogier in 2024 as the team may run a fourth car next season.

According to WRC TV Italy, Ogier and Hyundai were in descussions during Rally Italia Sardegna for next season while the Korean team offered to Ogier a proposal which is related to his potential contract with them and was presented during Rally Finland. Moreover, it must be mentioned that the eight-time World Rally Champion's contract with Toyota is set to be expired at the end of 2023, but Hyundai's offer is interesting considering the fact that they are about to use two jokers on October with the intention of developing further the i20N. Finally, it was rumored that Kalle Rovanpera was set to join Hyundai while Teemu Suninen may have already secured a Rally1 seat ahead of next year.
