Rally Poland set to rejoin WRC in 2024

According to DirtFish and WRC TV Italy sources, it is very likely for Rally Poland to make its return to World Rally Championship in 2024 after a seven-year absence from the series.

WRC TV Italy revealed a provision calendar of 2024 in which are included 13 events. Among these WRC rounds, Poland will fill the gap between Rally Italia Sardegna and Rally Latvia and may be held on June 27-30 while it will be the first fast gravel event of next year as Latvia and Finland are the following ones. It is expected that the WRC calendar of 2024 will be confirmed later this month, but many countries have already secured their places in World Rally Championship as they have a multi-year deal with FIA and WRC Promoter. These countries are Monte Carlo, Sweden, Kenya, Portugal, Sardinia, Finland and Greece while Latvia's debut was confirmed last February. Finally, it must be mentioned that 2017 was the last year that Poland hosted a WRC round where Thierry Neuville won it with a Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC while Hayden Paddon and Sebastien Ogier completed the podium.
