Croatia Rally - 3rd Day: Ogier snatches a dramatic win in Croatia after Neuville's and Evans's mistakes

At the end of the final day, Sebastien Ogier is the winner of Croatia Rally with Elfyn Evans and Thierry Neuville finishing behind him.

Sebastien Ogier stormed into the lead of Croatia Rally at the Stage 18 and secured his first win of the season with Toyota, but the most important is that he took his 100th podium in World Rally Champioship. He took advantage over his rivals' mistakes in SS18, but he dropped some seconds in Stage 19 when he understeered two corners at the start of the stage.

Elfyn Evans does the 1-2 for Toyota and lost his chance to claim his first victory of the season when he spun and clipped a bank with the rear-left of his car in SS18. However, his gap from the former rally leader Neuville was decreased to 2,6 seconds at the end of the opening stage as the last one did not follow the right tyre strategy.

Thierry Neuville dropped two places and finished at the lowest place of the podium as he had a big moment in Stage 18 where he clipped a branch with the rear wing of his i20N. He had to run without the rear wing for the rest of Sunday while he said at the end of Stage 19 that he had no hybrid.

Ott Tanak finished behind his teammate Neuville for 12,8 seconds and had also a huge moment in Stage 18 when he went straight on a bank, but he managed to save his i20N from a potential accident. However, he was the fastest driver in Stage 18 despite his lucky escape.

Takamoto Katsuta completes the top five and set the benchmark in Stage 17 and 19, but he topped the SuperSunday standings over Tanak for 1,8 seconds.

Andreas Mikkelsen finished in sixth place overall and managed to keep Gregoire Munster behind.

Adrien Fourmaux dropped from fifth to outside the top ten after the end of SS18 as he clipped an anticut device and damaged the front-right wheel and the steering arm. He and Alex Coria stopped and managed to fix their Puma for the rest of Sunday, but they completed Stage 18 after fifteen minutes. Last but not least, he was the fastest driver in Powerstage and took the five extra points from PS.
