Toyota tested two prototype cars in Croatia for 2025

According to DirtFish sources, Toyota is already testing two 2025-spec Yarises in Croatia this week apart from their pre-event preparation for the fourth WRC round.

FIA announced two months ago that the Rally1 cars will be running without the hybrid units from 2025, but it is yet to be corfirmed the details of the new regulations and it is expected to be announced in June where the next World Motor Council will take place. The Japanese team is in Croatia this week and Elfyn Evans has already completed his test with the Yaris and the Hankook tires for the upcoming WRC event. In addition to that, Toyota brought a GR Yaris Rally1-minus and a GR Yaris Rally2-plus in order to test them on Croatian roads as a preparation for the new regulations which will be introduced from the start of 2025. More specifically, the edition of Yaris Rally1-minus car does not have a hybrid unit and the power output is at 330 hp whereas the Yaris Rally2-plus is running with more aero and more power.
