The stewards of Rally Chile gave to Yohan Rossel a new time for being stuck on the dust of Oliver Solberg in Stage 11 resulting in being the new WRC2 leader.
Oliver Solberg and Elliott Edmondson stopped nine kilometers into Stage 11 in order to change a puncture and afterwards continued moving in the stage. However, Yohan Rossel was the following car on the order and had to slow down his pace due to the dust of his rival. The stewards examined this incident and decided to correct Rossel's time for Stage 11 which means that the Frenchman is now the new rally leader in WRC2 class and moved ahead of his teammate Nikolay Gryazin on the classification. Last but not least, it must be mentioned that Rossel is among the WRC2 title contenders for this year's championship, but Solberg and Sami Pajari are far ahead of him on the standings.
