At the end of the final day of CER, Ott Tanak is the winner of this year's Central European Rally with Elfyn Evans and Thierry Neuville following him.
Ott Tanak climbed to the first place of the overall classification at the end of Stage 15 and since then was fighting with Sebastien Ogier for the win until the time the last one crashed in SS17. However, the Estonian was outside the top five in Powerstage which means that he scored zero points.
Elfyn Evans finished second overall and set the fastest time in Stage 17 while he scored six points on SuperSunday.
Thierry Neuville does the 1-3 for Hyundai Motorsport and has to wait until Rally Japan to see if he will clinch his maiden title in World Rally Championship.
Takamoto Katsuta finished in fourth place on his return back to the wheel of the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 and set the fastest time in SS16 and in PS which means that he scored the five maximum points from Powerstage. In addition to that, he topped the SuperSunday standings and collected the seven points for him and Toyota.
Gregoire Munster completes the top five and made some changes to his Puma again while he said that CER was a learning process for him, but it must be mentioned that he is the top M-Sport Ford driver.
Adrien Fourmaux restarted today under the SuperRally regulations and was the fastest driver in SS15.
Andreas Mikkelsen finished outside the top ten and dropped more than two minutes in SS15 when he stopped to change a front left puncture 4.1Km into the stage. The problems did not stop there as the red light of the hybrid unit was on, but he managed to drive throughtout SS16.
Sebastien Ogier lost the lead over Tanak for 1,9 seconds at the end of SS15 as there was a lock-u and went straight on a field , but he retired in Stage 17 when he understeered and hit the trees just 600 meters into SS17.
Sami Pajari retired from the sixth place in Stage 15 when he went wide and rolled his Yaris on a left hander.
