At the end of Friday, Ott Tanak remains out in front with Sebastien Ogier and Takamoto Katsuta following him.
Ott Tanak still leads Rally Portugal and reported understeer with his i20N at at the end of SS7 while he set the fastest time in SS9 and SS11.
Sebastien Ogier stole the second place from Takamoto Katsuta at the end of Stage 9 with their gap being at 1,8 seconds at the end of SS9. He was the fastest driver in SS6 and SS10.
Katsuta lost one position and is third overall while he climbed to the second place at the end of Stage 7 leaving Ogier behind for 0,3 seconds. Moreover, he was the fastest driver in SS7.
Kalle Rovanpera does the 2-3-4 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT.
Thierry Neuville gained two places and is fifth overall after Fourmaux's retirement and managed to set the fastest time in Stage 8.
Sami Pajari promoted to sixth position and was able to steal Evans's place a the end of Stage 11.
Elfyn Evans dropped behind Neuville at the end of Stage 6 for two seconds as the Welshman was starting first on the road today.
Josh McErlean, Gregoire Munster and Oliver Solberg complete the top 10.
Adrien Fourmaux was forced to retire in Stage 8 when he hit a rock on the inside of a corner resulting in spinning and damaging the front left suspension from his Hyundai i20N.
