At the end of the first loop of Friday, Ott Tanak is the new leader of Rally Portugal with Adrien Fourmaux and Sebastien Ogier following him.
Ott Tanak set the fastest time on the first two stages of Friday morning and managed to be the new rally leader since the end of Stage 2.
Two tenths of a second separate the second Adrien Fourmaux from his teammate who was the fastest driver on the last two stages of Friday morning.
Sebastien Ogier is the leading Toyota driver and sits in third place overall despite the fact that he was not happy with his Yaris.
Takamoto Katsuta comes right behind his teammate for seven tenths of a second.
Kalle Rovanpera dropped to fifth place and reported understeer at the end of SS3.
Elfyn Evans does the 3-4-5-6 for Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT as he was losing time due to his road position.
Thierry Neuville follows the Welshman on the overall classification and made a mistake in Stage 2 when he hit a bank and had a halfspin 12 Km into SS2.
Sami Pajari, Josh McErlean and Gregoire Munster complete the top 10.
Martins Sesks is outside the top ten as he had to stop in Stage to change a front left puncture.
